Welcome to the Permaculture Defintion Database (PDD).
At one point or another, we’ve all asked “What is permaculture?”. What I love about most answers to this question is that they’re different. It may be subtle. It may be vast. But permaculture often means something different to each individual.
Therefore, the Permaculture Definition Database (PDD) is exactly what it says it is. It’s a database of permaculture definitions.
There is something beautiful in the subtleties of permaculture definition and meaning. That’s what the database is looking to capture. The thousands of different definitions people have of permaculture and what it means to them.
Over time, we hope it will become a superb resource connecting the positivity that permaculture brings us all. You can add your own definition of permaculture and what it means to you here by filling out this interactive form or by clicking the button below!
There is an example in the table to show you how the input data will look.
